Dealing Associate

This Dealing Associate position will see you joining a proactive and driven team within this central Bristol based award-winning business, who bring together discretionary investment management, platform services and intuitive investment technology.

This role would suit someone who is keen to develop their career within operational Dealing and is looking to join a business with an excellent reputation within the investment/platform space.

You’ll report into the Dealing Team Leader and you will be responsible for executing all contract notes and ensuring all DFM requests have been carried out. Over time you’ll work with the Team Leader on any process improvements and procedural changes.

Day to day functions will include:

  • Ensuring that the daily dealing files have been prepared and uploaded to EMX, Calastone and WBS before the internal cut off point.
  • Carrying out any internally and externally requested Fund Switch and rebalance requests in a timely manner.
  • Responsibility for processing conversions and corporate actions as and when they arise.
  • Executing contract notes within the system.
  • Setting up any new agency and nominee accounts with new Fund Managers.
  • Responsibility for checking and working through the daily control reports.
  • Raising, investigating and fixing any dealing corrections that have been caused by missed VP’s.

We’re looking for someone who ideally has investment dealing experience with OEICS, Unit Trusts & Equities. If you have previous experience of using EMX, Calastone coupled with Pulse/Symphony experience that would be highly advantageous. You’ll also have strong MS Office experience including Excel.
