Salary: £33,000 - £40,000
Would you like to progress your Paraplanning career in a position that will offer you the chance to specialise in an interesting and very rewarding area of financial planning, namely later-life planning, social care and personal injury?
We’ve partnered with Centurion Wealth Management, based just outside Bath in a lovely setting with free parking, to help them find a new Paraplanner. As well as providing private client financial planning, they also have specialist knowledge and vast experience in dealing with the financial challenges that someone may face as result of a personal injury, as well as later-life financial care, where their clients seek bespoke advice on the best financial strategy to help them enjoy their retirement years.
We’re looking for a Paraplanner to work cohesively with their Financial Planners; you’ll work closely with them to assist in identifying areas that provide solutions to the clients’ financial planning needs. Whilst you will carry out typical paraplanning duties such as conducting appropriate research, producing suitability reports & letters all in a compliant manner, you’ll also attend ‘family office’ style client meetings alongside the Financial Planner, as required. You will also liaise with the clients’ legal and tax advisers and become a key and trusted point of contact for clients and other relevant third parties.
Other areas of responsibility will include attending and contributing to the company’s Investment Committee, meeting with Life Company and Investment Management Company representatives, initiating client review meetings and looking at ways that improvement could be made to using technology that would add value to the overall client experience whilst equally benefitting the business.
Ideally, you’ll be a Level 4 qualified Paraplanner, with J01 (Taxation) and ideally J02 (Trusts), with either experience in or an interest in developing within this area of financial planning.
However, if you’re currently a trainee paraplanner, part-way through your Level 4 Diploma, and would like to specialise in this particular area of financial planning then we’d love to hear from you too.
Salary: up to £40,000 (dependent on level of experience and qualifications) plus benefits including Pension, Life Cover and PHI
