Are you a financial services Operational expert who would love to work part-time and also work from home?

If so, this is a great chance for someone with a passion for all-things operational to make a real impact and help drive this company forward.

We’re looking for an operational guru to work with the Business Driver and the rest of the team; to act as an Integrator, help direct the business and play a key role in the exciting future development plans for the firm.

As Practice Manager, you’ll use your experience gained within a financial planning business to manage and further develop a varied range of functions such as Processes & Procedures, IT, HR, Compliance & Finance and some Marketing activities.

Exciting development plans are in place where the business will develop in a genuinely different and interesting area of financial planning - they believe they can do a lot more, things that ‘push the envelope’ and will help further add to the positive difference they believe they make to their clients.

This successful true Financial Planning firm, with offices in Cheltenham & London, stand out from other firms in that they:

  • Have no interest in playing the ‘numbers game’, hoovering up clients just to help turnover
  • Work only with a select number of clients, which means they have plenty of time available to spend with each of them
  • Provide financial planning advice to clients whose circumstances are really interesting and challenge them to provide bespoke solutions; their typical client is not an average client and they are all most certainly not a number.

You’ll have excellent knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry gained within an operational/management position in an IFA/Financial Planning environment, coupled with a strong understanding of the legal & compliance requirements relevant to this type of position. Ideally, you’ll have relevant financial planning qualifications i.e. Certificate in Financial Planning or equivalent.

This is largely a home-based role, giving you less wasted journey/commute time and more flexibility; however, the company does have flexible office facilities in both Cheltenham & London.  Clients are situated around the South East, Midlands and the Cotswolds.

 

Key facts:

3 days per week plus option for flexible hours to ensure good work-life balance

No daily commute; home-based position

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 pro-rata

25 Days holiday pro-rata

3% Employer pension contribution
